Valdobbiadene Docg Tour

Self Guided

A short and scenic itinerary through the Valdobbiadene DOCG hills, conceived as a bacaro tour by bike: informal, free, with no bookings or organised tastings. You ride along back roads among vineyards and small rural hamlets, with possible stops at selected wineries such as Casa Brunoro, PDC, and La Casa Vecchia (Follo). The idea here is simple: stop for a glass at the counter, if and when you feel like it, paying directly on the spot.

The ride involves no appointments, set times, or fixed routes: it's designed for those who want to experience the area with a light touch, alternating between cycling and spontaneous stops, without turning the experience into a guided tasting. A simple and authentic way to ride through Cartizze and Valdobbiadene by bike.

Our Local Guide !!

ABOUT the PROSECCO HILLS

Welcome to a unique territory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cycle through vineyards clinging to the hillsides and landscapes that enchant. In the wineries, let the expert winemakers guide you and discover the secrets behind the production of the famous Prosecco.

The landscape of the Prosecco Hills, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019, welcomes sparkling wine enthusiasts from all over the world. Here, between the towns of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, beyond tasting the famous sparkling wine, you can explore ancient medieval villages like Follina or Collalto with its noble castle, walk scenic trails and paths such as the Cammino delle Colline or the Sentiero delle Vedette, enjoying spectacular views of the vineyards and surrounding valleys, among woods and hills rich in colour. A patchwork landscape, created by the harmony between Man and Nature, where small stone-built villages, little churches, and panoramic sanctuaries like CollagĂą or San Gallo, chestnut groves, and vine-covered terraces invite you to discover local Venetian food and traditions: bread and soppressa, radicchio and casatella, savoured in the traditional taverns and frasche of these hills in the province of Treviso.

Primavera del Prosecco
From 16 March to 9 June, 16 exhibitions dedicated to the famous wine bring the squares and the Prosecco Hills to life
