DESCRIPTION:

The 4X4 SPORT project was created with the aim of promoting the Veneto foothill area, represented by the mountain areas of the Provinces of Belluno, Treviso, and Vicenza, and the surrounding hilly areas, as ideal locations for offering adrenaline-fuelled and sporting experiences linked to the natural elements of the territory, such as:

Air: experience the territory from above, through free flight and paragliding;

Water: dive into the thrill of canyoning, rafting, and sailing;

Earth: the rush of a racing heartbeat while climbing, or practising MTB, Nordic walking, trekking, hiking, and tackling snowy trails on skis or snowshoes.

Fire: the spark, the energy of discovering Veneto by e-bike.

The project, conceived as a cross-cutting thematic initiative spanning three tourist destinations in Veneto (Vicenza, Treviso, and the Dolomites of Belluno), saw the active involvement of two area brands: Valbelluna and Terre di Asolo e del Monte Grappa, and aimed to represent, through its varied offering, a set of thematic products and sub-products, all united by this common goal and, in an entirely unprecedented way, promoted through a new shared brand "4X4 SPORT".

The cluster is led by the Consorzio Turistico Dolomiti Prealpi and includes the accommodation facilities L'Antica Abbazia (Borso del Grappa), Rifugio Pranolz (Borgo Valbelluna), Garden Relais (Borso del Grappa), Hotel Casagrande (Feltre), Hotel San Giacomo (Paderno del Grappa), San Liberale (Feltre), Albergo Croce d'Aune (Pedavena); the transport and rental companies Antoniazzi and My Pro Driver Shuttle and Transfer by Fausto Bosa for the Grappa area; the bike rental Vagabond Rent Bike of Pederobba; the travel agency Pegasus Tours of Asolo; the restaurant Bar Pizzeria Tennis Basso Pietro in Cavaso del Tomba; the sports companies and cooperatives Nevegal 2021 Srl of Belluno, Ssd Pedale Feltrino Srl of Feltre, Cooperativa Elementa of Feltre, the rafting centre Ivan Team of Solagna, the sports group I Lupi Team Adventure Run; and other commercial and service businesses in the Treviso pre-Alpine area such as Villa Serena Ss Società Agricola, Apicoltura Piovesan by Baggio Alessandra, Via Roma Bottega d'Arte by Santarelli Ivana e Massimo Snc, as well as the Fondazione Museo dello Scarpone e della Calzatura Sportiva of Montebelluna.

Through this project, the cluster has brought together the resources involved in local territorial tourism development, promoting at an international level a coordinated and varied offering that allows visitors to enjoy experiential tourism products available across the different seasons of the year, with a view to establishing the Veneto Pre-Alps area as an organised and competitive eco-destination for a sports-based holiday, attentive to both environmental and social sustainability, and strengthening its visibility in international markets.

The grant awarded amounts to €506,230.64 against a total planned investment of €645,163.30
